Southern Command Chief: We'll prepare for next Gaza op

Newly appointed IDF Southern Command Chief Major-General Sami Turjeman said: "We'll everything we can to establish calm in the Gaza Strip for southern residents.

"We'll continue to prepare for the next operation as if there's no calm and work towards strengthening ties with the Egyptians. We'll strike forcefully and wisely if there's fighting." (Yoav Zitun)
