Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz made a commitment that police would not arrest women who would recite the Kaddish prayer in the Western Wall, despite the statement given by Jerusalem District Police Chief Yossi Parienti that the police intends to bolster enforcement of the custom.
Rabinowitz's response refers to criticism leveled by Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky and Yesh Atid MK Aliza Lavi regarding the decision to ban women's prayers on the site. (Kobi Nachshoni)
