US: John Kerry will give 5% of his salary to State Department
US Secretary of State John Kerry will give 5% of his salary to charities of the State Department in solidarity with the employees affected by the impact of recent budget cuts, his ministry said Thursday.
Kerry's statement follows announcement by US President Barack Obama, delivered earlier Thursday, that he will donate 5% of his salary to US Treasury. (AFP)
