Qalqilya resident hospitalized after swallowing drugs

Imad Hamdiya, an illegal Qalqilya resident who has been detained in Israel for two weeks, is being hospitalized in severe condition after swallowing drugs at the Ayalon Prison.
Hamdiya, age 46, was taken to the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center where the drugs were removed from his body. He was operated on and is suffering from a tear in his in stomach. (Raanana Ben-Zur)
