Health Ministry issues directives on treating H7N9 bird flu symptoms
Following the deaths of six people as a result of the H7N9 bird flu, the Health Ministry issued directives to Israeli hospital and medical staffs.
Among other instructions, the ministry stipulates that any person exhibiting respiratory symptoms within 10 days of returning from China will be placed in isolation. No warnings to avoid travels to China have thus far been issued. (Dr. Itay Gal)
