Netanyahu: NIS 50M for Holocaust survivors
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the government would approve the proposal to allocate NIS 50 million (about $14 million) to a welfare fund for Holocaust survivors and the elderly.
Addressing the recent attacks on elderly people in Israel, the PM said he will make certain the assailants are punished, and added "we are committed to the welfare and security of the Holocaust survivors and the elderly." (Boaz Fyler)
