Knesset creates equal share of burden committee

The government has confirmed the creation of "a ministerial committee for an equal share of the military, civil and work force burden."
The committee, headed by Science Minister Yaakov Peri, will be entrusted with formulating a new governmental bill to replace the Tal Law and re-regularize the enlistment of haredis and Arabs to military and civil service. The committee will file the bill in seven weeks. (Attila Somfalvi)
