An Egyptian court cleared former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafik from allegations of expropriating public funds and aiding the Mubarak family to acquire real estate meant for the civilian sector.
Shafik, who ran for the last presidential elections, left Egypt with his family to Dubai and became an outspoken critic of President Mohammad Morsi. (Roi Kais)
