State comptroller orders security check on gov’t networks
The security of networks which are part of the Tehila project, the foundation for the government’s Internet system, will be checked, on orders of State Comptroller Joseph Shapira.
The comptroller ordered the check following hackers' attempts to attack hundreds of Israeli websites on Sunday. The report on the checks will be part of a larger report examining government security networks and focusing on software protection. (Aviel Magnezi)
