Court sentences 30 years to accessory in terror attack
The Samaria Military Court gave a 30-year sentence to a Hamas activist Omar Jabar (30), for his involvement in the 2002 suicide bombing attack of the Park Hotel in Netanya, in which 30 Israelis were killed during Passover Seder.
According to the indictment, Jabar served as a liason between the orchestrator of the attack, Abbas al-Sayed, and Fathi Hativ, the driver of the suicide bomber. He was found guilty of being an accessory. (Yoav Zitun).
