Egypt suspends tourist flights with Iran
Egypt has suspended tourist flights from Iran until June amid an outcry by ultraconservative Sunni Muslims angered over visitors from the mostly Shiite country. The move comes just over a week after the first flights between the two countries resumed in more than three decades.
Tourist Minister Hesham Zaazoua didn't give a reason for the suspension late on Sunday, according to comments carried by Egypt's state news agency. (AP)
