Obama laments Thatcher's death

President Barack Obama eulogized former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday, upon being informed of her passing, after suffering a fatal stroke.

In a statement released by the White House, Obama said, "The world has lost one of the great champions of freedom and liberty, and America has lost a true friend. (AFP)
