Lapid denies tuition increase claims

Finance Minister Yair Lapid denied he planned to raise student tuition. In a message released over social networks, he wrote, “Dear students, they are lying to you.” He was referring to claims by the Student Union which stated that in a meeting with the Finance Ministry, they were presented with an ultimatum on the subject.
