Peres praises Canada for anti-Iran stance

President Shimon Peres met with Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird and praised his country for severing its ties with Iran.

Regarding the Palestinian issue Peres recalled Canada's role in the Oslo Accords and cited its part in the committee on refugees. Peres said he hopes Canada will play a central role on the issue again. (Noam Dvir)
