Spa masseur who raped tourist gets 6 years in prison
The Haifa Magistrates' Court sentenced Semyon Reithbourg, 38, to six years imprisonment for raping an American tourist while working as a masseur at the Carmel Forest Spa Resort. He was also ordered to pay the complainant NIS 100,000.
According to the indictment, the accused raped and sodomized the tourist in August 2011. He denied the charges claiming they had consensual sex and intends to appeal the verdict and sentence. (Ahiya Raved)
