Iraq officials say 3 policemen killed in north
Iraqi authorities say gunmen have killed three policemen in an attack on a security checkpoint in a northern city.
Police officials said that the Wednesday afternoon attack took place when gunmen in a speeding car fired on policemen manning a checkpoint in the former al-Qaida stronghold city of Mosul, 360 kilometers (225 miles) northwest of Baghdad. (AP)
