Indictment against Daphni Leef may be scrapped

Justice Tzhai Uziel asked police and Public Defender's Office representatives to begin a mediation process regarding the indictment filed against five of the social justice demonstration leaders, including Daphni Leef. The five were accused of disturbing police officers and use of force in a June 2012 protest.
Justice Uziel requested to find an outline to a solution that the sides will present in June. According to him, the indictments can be scrapped or a severe warning can be given. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
