Haifa collision: Truck driver detained by police
The driver of the truck that was involved in the multiple-vehicle collision on the road between Haifa and the Checkpoint junction was detained for interrogation by the police. The truck arrived from Moshe Dayan Way, crashed into a row of cars waiting at the junctions' traffic light, crossed the junction and continued to move until it crashed into a fence which managed to stop it.
There are currently six dead, three seriously injured and another 15 people were reported as lightly injured. (Ahiya Raved)
