Ashdod: Suicidal woman enters sea with toddler, rescued by police
Police officers from Ashdod were called to the city's beach to rescue a suicidal woman, in her mid-thirties, who had entered the water holding her three-year-old son. The child was survived unscathed.
The police immediately took the child from her arms, who were severely cut. The woman received medical attention and the boy was later passed to city welfare officials. (Neri Brenner)
