Education minister condemns attack of Ethiopians

Education Minister Shay Piron said that he sees "any expressions of racism and violence as extremely serious whether the victims are Ethiopian olim or foreign migrants. This phenomenon is fundamentally wrong and deserves to be condemned.
"The Education Ministry will not evade its responsibility in preventing expressions of racism in Israeli society." Piron was commenting on the attack of two Ethiopians by five Israelis. (Shahar Chai)
