Michael Nidoya, a Danish resident who fled Israel for the Canary Islands after he hit a pedestrian while driving under the influence has been extradited to Israel.
He was extradited thanks to cooperation between Interpol and the Foreign Ministry. At the time of the incident Nidoya was an employee of the EU delegation in Jerusalem. He was convicted in absentia of negligence and driving under the influence. (Aviel Magnezi)
