Hebron: Palestinian injured trying to steal soldier’s gun

A young Palestinian was lightly injured Wednesday by live fire after an attempt by security forces in Hebron to arrest him turned into a scuffle, in which he tried to steal a soldier’s gun.

During the incident, which took place overnight, the young man threw objects at the soldiers before finally jumping on one of the soldiers and trying to wrest his gun from his hands. The soldier shot the man, who was lightly injured and taken to the hospital. Two other soldiers were lightly injured. (Itamar Fleishman)
