Mother, daughter caretakers steal money, property of elderly

Police from the Central Unit of Tel Aviv District arrested a woman and her daughter, ages 54 and 28 respectively, who had stolen money from senior citizens under their care, and in some of the cases, stole property.
The investigation revealed that the two acted in a systematic manner, tracking down potential victims, some of whom were Holocaust survivors. Several of their victims went out on the streets to beg, as they were left with nothing. The two will be brought to a remand hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court. (Eli Senyor)
