France's chief rabbi resigns over plagiarism scandal
France's Chief Rabbi Gilles Bernheim announced his resignation on Thursday, the French La Figaro newspaper reported. Bernheim was the center of a plagiarism scandal after it was revealed that he copied parts from other authors in his new book without citing the sources.
