Report: Senior Israeli officials land in Cairo

The Palestinian news agency Ma’an quoted an Egyptian source as saying that a delegation of high ranking Israeli officials has landed in Cairo. According to the source, the team includes four diplomatic and security representatives.

They were met by high ranking Egyptian officials from branches of the military intelligence, the source said. The two groups are expected to discuss negotiations with Hamas to ease tensions and the security situation in Sinai. (Roi Kais)
