AG to Netanyahu, Lapid: Arrange settlement benefit tax
Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has requested that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid create a “clear, to the point and equal” criteria regarding tax benefits for settlements.
The request was sent as part of a petition on behalf of the Majdal Shams Local Council, which wants to be eligible for tax benefits. This follows the 2011 decision of the High Court of Justice that the tax benefits would be cancelled mid-2013, as some were deemed illegal. (Aviel Magnezi)
