G8 ministers call for increased aid to Syrian people
G8 foreign ministers convening in London said they are "shocked" by the deaths of 70,000 people in the Syrian civil war. They called on the international community to increase aid to the Syrian people through the United Nations.
They added they are also shocked by the fleeing of more than a millions Syrian citizens. (AFP)
