Report: Qaeda planned attack on synagogue, US embassy in Turkey
Al-Qaeda terrorists in Turkey planned attacks on the US Embassy in Ankara, a synagogue in Istanbul and other targets, the New York Times reported.
According to the report, Turkish police exposed the plot and arrested 12 suspects in February. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
