Lapid: Economy can't change in a day

Finance Minister Yair Lapid wrote on his Facebook page that "the economy can't be changed in one day, and not in three weeks. Firstly we must revert back to responsible behavior so that we don't become Greece or Spain."
"I know that the measures are scary and that people can't make ends meet, but what we are executing now is a painful and necessary correction and it won't last for long." He also claimed that "everything we are doing today is part of a long-term program that will bring to a deep change in education and housing, lower the cost of living, in the equal share of the burden and everything important to working people in Israel."
