Abbas accepts Palestinian PM Fayyad's resignation

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad met with President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah and tendered his resignation which the latter accepted.
The past few days have seen US and European officials putting pressure on Fayyad to withdraw his resignation. (Elior Levy)
