PM Porush slams education minister over school funding
Knesset Member Meir Porush (United Torah Judaism) slammed Education Minister Shai Piron over his plan to deny haredi schools who fail to teach core studies of budgets and urged him to first address the "unripe fruit" of the state education system.
According to Porush, there are tens of thousands of open police files against teens from secular institutions for drug and liquor consumption. He claimed that in stark contrast haredi education has "proven success." (Kobi Nachshoni)
