Turkey's Erdogan to visit Gaza in late May

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced he will visit the Gaza Strip in late May, the Turkish newspaper Huriyet reported.

Last week it was reported that Erdogan will visit Gaza following his Washington meeting with United States President Barack Obama next Tuesday. According to the report, the US asked Turkey to postpone the Gaza state visit in order to let Israeli-Turkish relations to fully recover. (Ynet)
