Siren sounds across country, Memorial Day ceremony begins

Throughout the country, a minute-long siren was sounded. At its conclusion the official service commemorating the fallen IDF soldiers and victims of terror attacks being held at the Kotel began.
The official ceremony is attended by President Shimon Peres and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz. (Noam Dvir)
