Turkey first foreign country to post ambassador in PA

The Turkish Huriyet newspaper reported that Turkey has become the first foreign country to post an ambassador in the Palestinian Authority.
According to the report, Ambassador Shakir Uskan Turunlar who served as the Turkish consul in Jerusalem, submitted his credentials to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah. (Ynet)
