US military helicopter crashes along N Korea border

A US military helicopter crashed Tuesday near the North Korean border, a South Korean defense official said. The 12 service personnel aboard were reported to have survived.
The helicopter, identified by the Yonhap news agency as a UH-60 Black Hawk, came down in Cheolwon county, along the North Korean border, the defense ministry source told AFP. The crash took place during joint South Korea-US military exercises. (AFP)
