Iran hangs 7 convicted of murder, other charges

An Iranian semi-official news agency says authorities have hanged seven people convicted of armed robbery, murder and rape in southern Iran.
Tuesday's report by Mehr says four of the convicts were hanged in public while the other three were executed at a local jail in the city of Shiraz. (AP)
