Poland's lawmakers have paid homage to the victims and fighters of the Warsaw ghetto uprising against the Nazis, days before the 70th anniversary of the ill-fated revolt.
The lower house adopted a resolution on Wednesday, at the opening of a session. The parliament "pays homage to the victims and heroes of the uprising whose courage and sacrifice have earned admiration, respect and the memory of generations that came after them," the resolution said. (AP)
