Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday after the funeral of Former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher that she was a “great sympathizer with the State of Israel and the battles we faced. She spoke fondly of the country."
“I knew her personally and we had a very warm relationship. When I was Prime Minister and I lost the elections she wrote me, ‘I’m sorry you lost,’” Netanyahu added. (Ynet)
