Peretz: Clear ammonia tank out of Haifa Bay

Environmental Protection Minister Amir Peretz said that he plans to push urgently to move the ammonia tank from Haifa Bay. This follows the explosion in a Texas factory dealing with dangerous materials, which was located in proximity to a residential area. "Every moment in which great quantities of ammonia are stored near the public, is a dangerous moment," Peretz said. Haifa mayor Yona Yahav also called on the government to move the tank immediately.
