Artistic director of Bolshoi left blind after acid attack

Sergei Filine, artistic director of the Bolshoi ballet who was attacked with acid three months ago by an angry dancer, has lost his sight. His lawyer, Tatiana Stoukalova, made this statement Thursday in an interview published in Izvestia newspaper.
"To date, Sergei sees neither in the right eye or left eye," said Stoukalina in the interview available on the newspaper's website. (AFP)
