Alex Shatilov. Best achievement in his career

The best Israeli gymnast of all times, Alexander Shatilov,
won a gold medal in the men's floor exercise final as part of the European Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Moscow, Russia.
This is the best achievement in Shatilov's career and just one in a long list of achievements. He was the first Israeli to make it to an Olympic final in gymnastics in 2008 and the first Israeli gymnast to return to Israel with medals from both the European and world championships.
Shatilov, 26, scored15.333 points and shared the first place with Britain's Max Whitlock.

Shatilov took home the bronze medal at the 2009 European Championship, the silver medal in 2011 and 2012, and his fourth medal – gold – on Saturday. He is the first Israeli to win the European Championship in gymnastics.

For Saturday's achievement, Shatilov will enjoy a NIS 50,000 (about $13,800) bonus from the Olympic Committee. His coach, Sergei Vaisburg, will receive half the sum.
Immediately after Shatilov's final and the medal-awarding ceremony, 17-year-old Ofir Nezer of Israel competed on the vault at the women's apparatus final.
Netzer finished in the overall fourth place with an average score of 14.166 points. Giulia Steingruber of Switzerland took the gold medal with 14.750 points.
