Airlines push flights ahead to 4 am as strike looms

Israel's three major airline carriers moved up a proportion of their Sunday flights to 4 am, in order to dodge the strike action declared by the workers unions to commence at 5 am.
Workers at El Al, Arkia and Israir are set to launch an open-ended strike action Sunday, in protest of the government's plans to ratify an open skies deal with Europe they see as a threat to their jobs. (Omri Efraim and Gilad Morag)
