Hagel: Arms deal clear signal to Iran

US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the arms deal between the US and Israel is "a clear signal to Iran," putting on the table the option of military action to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Hagel, who landed in Israel a short time ago, referred to a deal he is about to finalize this week with Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, which would see Israel being furnished with munitions seen as adequate for launching an strike on Iran. (AFP)
