Plea bargin: Arab who stabbed soldier to serve 13 years in jail

A plea bargain reached last January for an Arab man charged with the stabbing of the IDF soldier Yehudit Aharon on Jerusalem's light rail during March 2012 has been authorized by The Jerusalem District Court Sunday.
The assailant, Muhammad Shuman,19, was officially indicted for attempted murder, retaining a knife and obstruction of justice, and now the court has authorize the compromise regarding his sentence as well. He will serve 13 years. (Aviel Magnezi)
