The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs unanimously authorized legislation proposed by Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar, according to which illegal residents will be barred from sending money or property abroad while in Israel.
According to the interior minister, the ability to send money earned in Israel abroad is the main incentive behind illegal infiltration. (Omri Efraim)
