Congo national charged with murder of Zehava Chakol

An indictment has been filed with the Lod District Court against Aritzia Akalsongo, a Congo national, for the murder of Zehava Chakol. According to the indictment, Chakol demanded that the defendant pay her NIS 200 after she was forced to wait for him in a Netanya hotel for four hours. She threatened to yell that he raped her if he did not pay her the money.

Akalsongo then strangled her and threw her body out of the window, the indictment said. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
