53-year-old molests teen, gets 6-months community service

The Haifa District Court sentenced to six-months of community service a 53-year-old man who performed indecent acts against a teenaged girl.

The two met online. The teen agreed to undress before an internet camera, and the man used the photographs to blackmail her into meeting him in person, when he performed the indecent acts. The judge ruled there is a high probability for a successful psychological treatment for the accused, and ordered the lenient sentence. The convict will also compensate the teen by NIS 60,000.
