Lapid: Don't make children and assume others will provide

Finance Minister Yair Lapid commented on criticism regarding the impending cuts in the children stipends, and told the haredi MKs who heckled his speech that those who bring children to the world are responsible to provide for them.

"Bringing a child to the world is a grave responsibility, and you should never do it out of the assumption that others will provide for them, but from the knowledge that it's your own duty," Lapid said.
