Erdogan to visit Gaza Strip in May, as planned

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he would visit the Gaza Strip at the end of May as planned, even though the US requested that he postpone his trip.
Erdogan announced on Monday that he will assess the recommendations he received on the issue. Erdogan aims to hold the visit at the determined period so that he can be in the Strip on the anniversary of the Marmara incident. (AFP)
