Hagel: Syria has used chemical weapons

US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel told reporters in Abu Dhabi that the Syrian regime has likely used chemical weapons on a "small scale." He said the White House had informed members of Congress that, within the last day, US intelligence concluded with "some degree of varying confidence" that Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime has used chemical weapons – specifically sarin gas.
